I am a Nidderdale based painter and photographer and have shown my work in many local and regional exhibitions.

I became interested in abstract art at college in the 1970’s as I was able to express more about a subject than I had previously found possible.

My paintings are in oil or watercolour evoking the patterns and features found in landscapes. They reflect my love of walking in the countryside and on the hills and mountains in many parts of the country. They are concerned with the physical experience of being in those places where all the senses are stimulated and impressions remain.
