Currently at sweet heART

I am a Nidderdale based painter and photographer and have shown my work in many local and regional exhibitions.

I became interested in abstract art at college in the 1970’s as I was able to express more about a subject than I had previously found possible.

My paintings are in oil or watercolour evoking the patterns and features found in landscapes. They reflect my love of walking in the countryside and on the hills and mountains in many parts of the country. They are concerned with the physical experience of being in those places where all the senses are stimulated and impressions remain.

SweetheART Gallery is part of the NiddArt Trail from 19th to 29th August 2016.

Dayna Cowper’s latest paintings will be on show. The Gallery and Tearoom will be

open from 9am to 6pm  Wed to Sunday plus August Bank Holiday Monday.

The trail includes exhibitions,workshops and demonstrations at 42 different
